Created as part of the "Unreal Engine 5: Build a AAA Quality Game Environment" course by Nicolas Bucco.
Through this project, I gained a much deeper understanding of modular environment creation, trim sheets, texel density, asset optimization, and efficient workflows for real time applications.
Rather than strictly following every workflow from the course, I replaced several manual processes with more technical and procedural solutions. This included generating the forest using Unreal Engine's PCG framework instead of manually placing trees, creating the roof tiles with Blender Geometry Nodes instead of placing each tile by hand, developing a custom Blender tool for procedural firewood stacking, and restructuring the material setup into reusable material functions to improve organization and maintainability.
